The marble chess board that you can only see a portion of in this image, is 16 inches by 16 inches and .75 inches in height. |The whole thing weighs 17 pounds,which is quite a bit for a game board. The tallest piece is the King piece that stands 3.5 inches tall, just to put the piece sizes into perspective. The pieces are black and brown with streaks for a marbling effect. The majority of the customer review comments are very positive as people seem to be quite satisfied with this chess set.
